Our rates for ads match or are most likely lower than other popular Mexico websites. The PG website is still young, but we are fortunate to have a very dedicated audience. "Dollar for dollar", I think an ad on the PG site is a very good value.

We offer 3 types of ads. The "People's Guide Sponsor" has a banner ad across the top of an appropriate page, plus a banner on the rotating ad at the top of home page, $750

A Banner Ad at the top of a page, $500.

A Classified ad is $100.

As a Sponsor, your banner ad will be prominently visible at the top of a page related to the material in the ad. This banner will link our readers directly to your website The Banner ad is 70 pixels high by (up to) 700 pixels wide.

As a special rate for early sponsors, we are currently offering Banner Ads for only $500 for a full year. Banner Ads will be placed at the top of a page related to the material in the ad.

Sponsors will also be listed on our special Sponsor Index page (which is linked to the home page of the website).

For an additional $250, (total of $750), your ad will also be placed on the rotating banner on the homepage.

Rates for a classified ad are $100 for a full year. Your classified ad will also be linked from an appropriate page within this site. For example, our section on Speaking Spanish will include advertiser's links to language schools and Spanish study aids. This link can take our readers to your more detailed classified (a page with text and image) on our website, or directly to your own website.

A typical classified will be a full page with up to 200 words of text and one image (50k maximum). In other words, you'll have a full web page within The People's Guide website.

As with banner ads, your classified will be listed and linked to your ad page from the appropriate section of this website. Your ad will also be listed on the People's Guide Sponsors page and in the site's main Table of Contents.

We want your ad to be effective. If you prefer to be linked to other areas of our site, please let us know beforehand.

Our ad rates for homes that are for rent or sale are the same as classified ads.

You can also "earn" additional exposure on our website by contributing articles and detailed letters. Our personal interests in Mexico, and those of our readers, are very broad, and go well beyond just travel & tourism. The People's Guide website allows us to publish on a wide range of topics, so we're always open to articles about interesting projects, personal experiences, etc. It doesn't have to be highly polished -- after all, this is The People’s Guide to Mexico, not the New York Times.
